After almost 18 years of operation, it is with regret that ArtWorks Artisan Center,

owned and operated by members of the Mountain Regional Arts and Crafts Guild, Inc. (the “Guild”)

will be closing its doors at 243 Big Sky Drive, Hiawassee, GA at 5pm on December 28, 2024.


With the closing of Artworks, some of the merchandise will be on sale. 


Mountain Regional Arts and Crafts Guild will remain. 

We will continue our monthly meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 4pm

at the Calvary Alliance Fellowship Hall 1390 Highway 76 E., Chatuge Harbor Plaza, Hiawassee, GA


AND we hope to have more events and classes in 2025.

Monthly Guild Meetings

Come join us!  We would love to meet you and see your artwork!  We are a friendly and supportive group of  like-minded artisans and crafters.  


Monthly Guild meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Calvary Corner Fellowship Hall, US- 76, Hiawassee (across from Towns County High School). 


Supporting the Arts & Crafts Community in North Georgia & Western North Carolina for Over 30 Years

Our Purpose

The Guild supports and promotes its working artists and crafts members from the North Georgia and North Carolina mountain area. The 50+ members work in many different media.  Over 25 members participate in Artworks Artisan Center, the Guild owned and operated retail store selling Guild members work. ArtWorks also has classrooms where members can teach, sharing their expertise with students.

 

The Guild is supported in part by the Georgia Council for the Arts through the appropriations of the Georgia General Assembly. GCA also receives support from its partner agency - the National Endowment for the Arts.
