Painting & Digital Art
Digital Art was my first real experience as an artist. I developed a technique which enabled me to take the images from a photograph and using these images create an entirely new picture. After 15 years of digital art I decided I wanted to be more personal with my work and decided to take up painting. Fortunate to find an excellent teacher who worked one on one with me for four years, I finally began to feel comfortable and more confident with my work. Other painters have now joined us and we have been painting every other week together for the last 3 years. After I started painting I noticed the world with a different eye, really seeing not just looking.
Having been a teacher, I love working with children and have taught many years in ArtWorks Summer Arts Program for Kids. I have also taught at the Senior Center in Towns County.
