As a native of San Diego California, I grew up with sandy beaches, blue skies and 75 degree weather.  Moving east and eventually living in the mountain is inspirational.  I started decorative painting in the 90's taking classes with local and national teachers.  This led to a career change by participating in craft shows from Virginia to Florida. With my  husband's passing in 2001 it was difficult to do shows by myself so now I only do indoor shows.  Currently I exhibit at Art Works Gallery in Hiawassee, Ga, Victoria's Antique Mall in Blairsville and Valley River Art Guild in Murphy, NC. In 2005,  I felt the need to expand my horizons by taking classes in watercolor.  I continue to study and learn new techniques...You Tube is my friend!  

When time permits I enjoy teaching various techniques on glass, gelli plates, fabric and wood. It helps support my habit...yes, I am a hoarder of art supplies!
